Producing a Digital Health Conference at Google New York
Five years ago, I helped Silverlight Digital launch its vision with a simple webinar: the State of Digital report, delivered virtually to share insights on digital trends and emerging best practices. Since then, I’ve grown that program into the Pulse Digital Health Conference, a standing-room-only event hosted in Google’s premier New York City conference space.
As producer of this event, I:
-
Recruited and coached presenters to deliver engaging and insightful content
-
Designed the event branding and visual identity
-
Directed all production details, ensuring a seamless flow and brisk pace
-
Photographed the event and captured assets for future marketing and PR use
The conference opened with remarks from Silverlight CEO Lori Goldberg and Google’s Group Lead, Matan Ariel.
The day’s sessions reflected my commitment to creating an actionable, balanced agenda. I produced and moderated:
-
“Is There a Doctor in the House?” — a physician panel offering candid insight into how mobile technology impacts patient care, communication, and prescribing practices.
-
“Human Truths: Health as Wellness” — a Google analyst presentation unpacking search trends, showing how consumers use search to triage symptoms, challenge medical advice, and pursue lifestyle wellness.
-
“Conquering Conquesting” — a digital strategy talk led by Silverlight’s Director of Search and Social, where I helped shape the storyline to provide marketers with real-world tactics to combat competitive search bidding.
By curating speakers, shaping session themes, and orchestrating production, I transformed what began as a small webinar into a flagship industry event with Google.
